In October 2024 I was given the opportunity to go to talkSPORT’s office and write two US sports articles for them.

I wrote one article about the San Francisco 49ers, before they played the Kansas City Chiefs on 20/10/24. talkSPORT had completed two interviews with second year safety Ji’Ayir Brown and rookie WR and receiver Jacob Cowing.

It was my job to analyse the interviews, find an appropriate angle for the article, then write it.

The second article I wrote was during the 2024 NLCS between the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers.

I noted during this series that one Mets player in particular was struggling, and cost them game three of the series with a defensive mis-play.

In order to find a solid angle for this article, I decided to watch the post-game press conferences and find quote from Mets manager Mendoza about this specific player.
